What changes, with the bar license is the legality of serving alcohol unpaired with food, and until 3 am. I'll be checking in with the city, but I'm not too worried as far as breaking the lease; its getting the new place thats going to be a tad trickier, under the conditions that you're already aware of ;PMartin Rougehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16840492099133107294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1904768916478151684.post-35606305156172090912010-04-25T23:35:28.663-04:002010-04-25T23:35:28.663-04:00i believe that you're allowed to break your le...i believe that you're allowed to break your lease if you can show that there has been a substantive change in the condition of the apartment. a change in the zoning of the place below you (which is what the granting of a liquor license involves) counts as that sort of change. as a tenant, you are supposed to be given the right to respond to any such request by another tenant and if you weren't, you can have the lease voided. don't worry. you'll get a place, a better place and be happier for it.morelikespacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14579614920085665069noreply@blogger.com
